| Bio: | I'm as assistant professor at Michigan State. My research interests are in antiviral immunity. I study the cell biology of antigen presentation, which is related to how immunity to viruses and tumours develops. I got here through a long and circuitous route that passed through veterinary practice, grad school, a research fellowship at Harvard, and several years at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. I married Amy (who also works at MSU now) in 1999, and we have two kids -- William (born in 2000) and Matthew (born in 2003). |
